The "Drummer From Another Mother", aka DFAM, is an analog synthesizer with an expressive approach to creating percussive patterns. DFAM's emotional sound is activated by an user-friendly analog sequencer and starts with a white noise generator and two long-range analog oscillators.
A classic Moog ladder filter with two selectable modes (low-pass or high-pass) shapes the DFAMs voice - three dedicated analog envelopes work dynamically with the sequencer.
A set of patch cables is included for access to the 24-point patchbay. This allows you to create new sounds with sometimes bizarre behaviours - an unlimited number of DFAM and Mother-32 synths can also be synchronized with each other.
