The satin neck with a Golden Era (GE) Modified Low Oval profile, high-performance taper, and 25.4" scale length ensures unmatched comfort and playability. Elegant ebony details, including the bridge, bridge pins, and fingerboard with abalone dot inlays, complement the timeless style. Available in a variety of gloss and satin finishes, the D-18 is a guitar you can rely on to unleash your inner artist.
Martin's refreshed Standard Series for 2025 offers more sound, comfort, and style. The Sitka spruce GE, also used in the Modern Deluxe series, provides a vintage-inspired tone and sustain, while updates such as a redesigned neck profile, a thinner fingerboard, and a refined bridge and heel improve playability and aesthetics. Each guitar comes with a hard shell case.

This allows greater stability and load-bearing capacity of the top (soundboard) thanks to strips glued to the inside of the top. The name of the US company Martin Guitars, actually C.F. Martin & Co., Inc., has stood for the highest quality and innovation in the construction of stringed instruments since 1833. When people think of Martin they immediately think of the acoustic guitar, since the company founder and German emigrant Christian Friedrich Martin gave the instruments the form we still know and appreciate today. Among the company's inventions are the special bracing (X‑bracing), the neck join at the 14th fret and popular body shapes such as the dreadnought guitar.
