The small Lionheart Top is the ideal studio/recording amp. The Class A power amplifier delivers 5 watts output, but can also be switched down to 0.5 watts. The features include 2 channels (clean/drive) with a common 3-band sound control and an additional tone control, which sits at the end of the signal chain in the power stage section. The Tone Control works similar to the Cut control of the AC-30 circuit. On the back is a frequency-corrected, symmetrical DI output, headphone output with speaker simulation, an aux input for MP3 players and the serial effect path with switchable level. The highlight is the integrated USB 2.0 audio interface (with speaker simulation) for recording. In addition, there is a re-amping direct output to which the unprocessed signal is applied. The amp can also be used for recording applications without a cab.
