The new flagship of the Concert Artist series with soundboard
The CA901 is equipped with the Grand Feel III action with wooden keys, which enables an exceptionally realistic playing experience. All eighty-eight black and white keys are made entirely from long wood pieces and fitted with ivory-like finishes (Ebony&Ivory Touch), giving the player a grippy surface for greater security and excellent play control. As with a grand piano, each key moves smoothly on a balance rail. When a key is struck, a weighted hammer is driven upwards, just like the original. In addition, the 3-sensor system ensures optimal repetition and playing control. The graduated weighted hammers deliver a genuine grand-piano feel.
The CA901 features 6 speakers and 360-degree diffusers for the upward-firing speakers. These specially developed components create a sound experience that distributes the natural sound throughout the room. Compared to the CA701, the CA901 also features a TwinDrive Soundboard System. This reproduces the wide frequency spectrum directly via the soundboard. The rear soundboard is driven into vibration by two AURES Transducers, so no additional bass speakers are required.
