Simply remove your old pickguard, solder the output jack and ground wire, screw in the new pickguard and you'll be ready to rock with pure Fender tone.
No other pickup delivers the powerful, clean and clear surf‑rock sound of a mid‑'60s Stratocaster as well as the carefully made, punchy Pure Vintage '65 Strat pickups. From the classic coil construction to the original wiring, all Fender Pure Vintage pickups are wound to precise specifications to ensure authentic, traditional Fender tone and performance. The reverse‑wound middle pickup with reverse polarity cancels the 60‑cycle hum in positions 2 and 4 and gives those positions the classic Stratocaster sound.
