Elixir strings are one of the most popular guitar and bass strings. Due to their poly- or nanoweb coating, they are very durable. However, some guitarists have problems with the slightly different feel and the small sound difference to uncoated strings. The Elixir Optiweb strings create a remedy here: the new coating has the same feel and the sound difference to conventional strings no longer exists. The Optiweb Super Light set is supplied in thickness 009-042.

Spiele seit Jahren nur Elixir Saiten. TOP.!!!!!
Ich habe schon viele Marken ausprobiert. Dass ich seit sehr vielen Jahren ausnahmslos Elixir spiele hat schon Gründe: rissen mir früher ständig Saiten aller Marken, passiert das nahezu gar nicht mehr. Und das Wechseln nach maximal 2 Wochen, weil der Klang nachlässt, ist auch nicht mehr notwendig. Nun spiele ich Monate bis zum Wechseln! Ich jedenfalls kenne keine besseren Saiten!
