Fifty years ago the market for effect pedals wasn't as large as it is today. Instead of a multitude of pedal makers on the internet, you had to visit your local guitar shop and choose from two or three brands they stocked. DOD was almost always one of them.

While DOD cemented its legacy in the world of analogue effect pedals, the engineers at DigiTech worked hard to push the boundaries of DSP. With the DigiTech DSP-128, the industry’s first true multi-effects processor, they achieved exactly that.
