Cyclone is a purely analog phaser pedal that draws inspiration from many classic models and goes even further. The range extends from subtle phasing reminiscent of the warm 70s to phase shifts with vibrato bordering on self-oscillation from the 90s. Thanks to additional controls, the Cyclone allows to intuitively create harmonically perfect modulation effects. Apart from guitar and bass, the Cyclone is also great for thickening classic keyboard sounds.
The four switchable presets allow you to quickly switch through the decades and can be finely adjusted. The connection for an external expression pedal is very helpful here: it allows you to conveniently control the speed of the LFO with your foot. While many manufacturers focus on clones of popular pedals, all Crazy Tube Circuits products are completely in-house developments by the Greek effects manufacturer. All pedals are lovingly handcrafted in Athens, feature true bypass, and are of very high quality.
