The volume „Meine schönsten Etüden für Klavier“ contains 26 beautifully arranged pieces that are particularly suitable for pianists from around the 2nd to 3rd year of learning. The studies come from important classical and romantic composers such as Czerny, Duvernoy, Heller, Bertini, Berens and Schytte. They represent an important and valuable part of pedagogical piano literature. These carefully selected works offer a perfect mix of technical training and musical enjoyment. They are more than just exercises – they playfully combine basic finger technique with the expressive works of the great masters. Each étude focuses on a specific technical aspect, such as scales, double stops, arpeggiated triads, hand independence or rapid repeated notes – but staccato playing and learning dotted rhythms are also well covered.

The word étude originally denotes a "study" or "exercise", but this collection contains pieces that not only improve technique but also give great pleasure as performance pieces. Practising becomes a pleasure because musical expression and tone shaping are developed with ease. A manageable length of pieces, easy-to-read keys and numerous fingerings support the learning process.
