Ampeg Portaflex
The Ampeg Portaflex series is a true classic that was already established in the 1960s. All amps and cabs in the Portaflex range are characterised by their distinctive design, which looks both modern and retro, as well as their light weight and portability.
The PF-50T and the PF-20T adopt the legendary B-15 design concept — all-tube with first-class tone — but in a more modern, rugged enclosure. The three Class-D heads in the Portaflex line combine state-of-the-art technology such as SMPS power supplies and MOSFET preamps with classic Ampeg aesthetics. Each unit features an equaliser, many different inputs and outputs and the rugged construction that made Ampeg famous.
When it comes to stage presence, the look matters, and that also applies to bass cabinets. Some players want contemporary looks, construction and quality, but they don't want the stage to look like a hi‑fi showroom. For these players the Portaflex line is ideal — from the compact 1x12 PF-112HLF to the large 4x10 PF-410HLF, every bassist will find the right equipment here.
