With its solid back and sides of Urban Ironbark, a torrefied Sitka spruce top and the Grand Pacific body shape, the 517e offers a completely unique tonal profile within the Taylor range. Players will hear a muscular yet gentle response with remarkable balance across the whole frequency spectrum, delivering both fullness and clarity. Inside the guitar the patented V-Class bracing provides more power and longer sustain, which further accentuates the rosewood-like qualities of the ironbark eucalyptus and reinforces the warm character of the Grand Pacific body. Subtle appointments such as an abalone rosette, tortoise binding and marquise inlays made from Italian acrylic complete the package, which also includes Taylor Expression System 2 electronics and a hard shell case.
