Peavey has made a name for itself with its Vypyr modelling amps - the Vypyr X3 offers a wealth of features at a fair price: 36 amp modellings (including 6 acoustic and 6 bass amps! ), 12 stompbox modellings, 26 effect modellings, 10 instrument modellings and a looper (in conjunction with the optional Sanpera floorboard). Also on board is Bluetooth for music streaming and remote control via an optional IOS app. Your own amp and effect creations can be stored in 16 user memory locations. Currently the only modelling amp that is also suitable for electric bass and acoustic guitar. The distortion sounds are generated analogue using Peavey's patented Trans Tube technology.
