The PPC112 is one of the most popular 1×12″ cabinets on today's market, and for good reason. Its closed 18-mm birch-plywood cabinet is slightly larger than a conventional 1×12. This gives the PPC112 a larger internal volume for a fatter tone with excellent projection. The cabinet houses a single Celestion Vintage 30 speaker and is fitted with Orange's unique glide runners on the bottom to acoustically couple the cabinet to the stage and improve the response of the low frequencies. For lower-powered heads such as our Terror series or the OR15, the PPC112 is an excellent choice.

I was used to the more wide open sound of an open back cab but this one nails the crunchy mid range sound I was looking for to pair with my beloved Orange OR15 head. Plus fantastic construction for an amazing price.
