How does that work? First of all, with absolute cutting edge technology that can capture the sonic DNA of any guitar amp. The resulting profiles are as lively, impulsive and dynamic as the original amp.
The profile itself is quite simple. First, connect a Kemper at the input of the amp to be profiled or at the beginning of the corresponding signal chain and let him work. The Kemper Profiler now sends different test signals into the amplifier and then draws on a speaker to be placed in front of the microphone. The type of microphone also plays a role. The guitar is not being used here. After less than a minute the Kemper knows what has to be done and presents the resulting profile. Der Kemper ist ein hervorragendes Gerät das in Punkto Bedienbarkeit und Klang Maßstäbe setzt, an denen andere Anbieter noch lange knabbern werden. Auch nach Monaten entdecke ich noch Funktionen die mich überraschen und mein kleines Gitarristenherz höher schlagen lassen. Nach und nach habe ich mein bisheriges Equipment wie Amp, Boxen und allerlei Tretminen verkauft und freue mich bei jedem anschalten meiner Gitarrenanlage auf den klasse Sound des Kemper. :)
Mit dem Kemper Profiler bin ich als Gitarrist sehr zufrieden. Das Konzept ist durchdacht und auch die enthaltenen Werkssounds/Rigs sind sehr gut brauchbar und leicht zu modifizieren. Subjektiv gesehen dürfte für mich (Brillenträger) das Display eine bisschen größer sein. Ich habe lange mit mir gerungen und mir reiflich überlegt, ob ich so viel Geld investieren möchte. Jedoch muss ich im Nachhinein sagen, dass es sich wirklich gelohnt hat. Mit einer passenden FullRangeBox bin ich jetzt rundum zufrieden. Einen Stern Abzug gibts von mir dafür, weil ich der Meinung bin, dass bei einem solch stattlichen Preis eine passende Tasche für den Profiler und das Fußpedal dabei sein müsste. Technisch gesehen ist das Gerät top und sehr zu empfehlen. Allerdings braucht es etwas Zeit bis man sich eingearbeitet hat.
