The Keilwerth SX-90 R is a professional model. Since 1925 Keilwerth has been developing saxophones that allow musicians to shape their own sound and style. Under this premise Keilwerth adopted the technical advantages and improvements of the SX-90 and added further features to tailor the instrument completely to the player. The result is the Keilwerth SX-90 R (the R stands for tone holes with rolled rings), a saxophone that recalls the old Conn and Buescher saxophones of the 1940s. The most outstanding feature of this saxophone are the tone holes. For the Keilwerth SX-90 R rolled rings are used which are soldered onto the standard drawn tone holes.
