With the SRD905F-BTL from the Bass Workshop series, Ibanez has added a modern semi-hollowbody 5-string fretless bass with first-class features to its range. The lightweight okoume body is partially hollowed out, and the top is made of heavily grained flamed maple. The panga panga fingerboard offers a range of 30 frets (lined fingerboard). In addition to the two Nordstrand Big Break pickups, the SRD905F-BTL is also equipped with a piezo bridge—the piezo pickup has its own preamp and can be mixed with the magnetic pickups.
