The back and sides are crafted from the finest bocote, with a top made of exceptional spruce. Bocote, also known as Rio Grande or Mexican rosewood, is a decorative South American hardwood. Its uniquely beautiful grain features dark brown to black streaks against a golden-yellow to coffee-brown background. Together with the thin spruce top, the 58 BF achieves excellent attack with a full sound and a crisp, well-defined tone. This guitar meets the highest standards; it is recommended for discerning players and truly comes into its own when playing sustained passages.
Crafted from very high-quality, solid tonewoods, this guitar features a high-gloss finish with a domed top and 7-point bracing. The gold-colored tuners with ebony pegs, the Cedro neck made of the finest hardwood with full-length locking, the high-quality grenadill fingerboard, and the 3-layer rosewood-maple-macassar headstock all demonstrate the high quality of the 58 BF. The entire guitar is finished with a high-gloss UV-curing acrylic lacquer.
