The Hanika model 50 AF features back and sides of golden-brown stained maple with a light spruce top. This concert guitar, with its gentle tonal character, is ideal for accompanying vocals, as the 50 AF's harmonic overtone spectrum complements overtone-rich partners very well. Crafted from solid tonewoods, this guitar is fitted with Teflon-mounted, high-quality Rubner Gold machine heads with bushed tuner holes. Further quality features include a thermo-cherry neck continuously reinforced with grenadilla, a rosewood fretboard and a bridge saddle made from hard bone material.
The open-pore, matte finish with PUR matt lacquer produces a surface that is relatively resistant to dirt and signs of use, and it allows a particularly open and free tone because the wood can vibrate more freely than with a high-gloss finish.
