The Cedro neck is reinforced several times in the core with ultra‑dense, highly resonant snakewood, including reinforcing splines. The asymmetrically weighted, domed spruce top optimises the instrument's efficiency. The 1A Torres offers outstanding dynamics, an exceptionally full‑bodied tone, excellent note separation and good responsiveness. This classical guitar meets the highest demands in terms of materials, workmanship and sound. The threefold open‑worked rosewood–maple–ziricote headstock and high‑quality tuning machines by specialist Klaus Scheller underline the 1A Torres's high standards. Visually, this classical guitar impresses with a body finish in UV‑cured high‑gloss lacquer, a top finish in elaborate shellac hand‑polish and a symmetrically made ziricote headplate in sapwood style.
