To ensure that valuable equipment - microphones, speakers, spotlights and more - is stable and secure, Gravity® has the new BG SB Bags in its portfolio - individually fillable sandbags for easy attachment to tripod legs.
In addition to stage use, the BG SB bags also ensure greater safety in the film and photography sector, for example when a diffuser or softbox needs to be raised to a great height via a C-stand. Content creators and videocasters who work with a long boom arm or a lighter table tripod for optical reasons no longer need to worry about the stability of their tripod constructions with the Gravity® sandbag.
The BG SB Sandbags are available in two versions: SMALL for microphone stands, LARGE for speaker, light and C-stands. The handling is as simple as it is effective: each bag has two inner pockets that can be filled with sand, pebbles or other contents as required and fit perfectly into the two recesses. The BG SB sandbag is then simply placed on the unfolded tripod leg and holds it reliably on the ground. The carrying handles offer additional convenience, allowing the bags to be gripped and repositioned with one hand.
The bags have a special anti-slip surface made of mesh fabric on the underside to prevent them from slipping down on steep tripod legs despite being heavily filled. This means that the BG SB can be quickly and easily attached, removed and repositioned during hectic conversion phases - no additional Velcro fasteners or straps are required to attach the bag to the tripod leg. If you still want to be on the safe side in strong winds, you can use the integrated metal eyelets at the corners to attach the bags securely to the tripod using cable ties or a rope.
For carefree use on open-air stages, outdoor shoots or restaurant terraces, the BG SB has a water-repellent outer material made of 1680D nylon, which is water-repellent and ensures that sand and pebbles inside do not get wet.
