The Player Precision Bass has also received an extensive upgrade with the Fender Player Plus Precision Bass PF 3TSB. The maple neck is glued to the alder body. The neck has a "modern C" profile. The hardware and electrics have also been completely overhauled: a solid HiMass bridge ensures optimum vibration transmission, while a Player Plus P/J Noiseless pickup set in conjunction with an active 3-band EQ/preamp provides powerful, modern sounds without single coil hum. Finished in classic 3-tone sunburst.
