Design and construction
The body is available in alder, ash or mahogany and comes in classic Fender finishes as well as bold, modern colours. This Fender Player II Stratocaster RW features an ash body with tone chambers for weight relief and a White Blonde finish that is further accentuated by the high-gloss urethane coating. The body is joined to a bolt-on maple neck that has an elegant satin finish. The fretboard is made from premium rosewood and a nut width of 1.650" (42 mm) provides a comfortable playing feel. Everything about the neck is designed for fast, fluid playability, from the modern "C" profile with a smooth urethane back finish to the comfortable 9.5" radius of the rosewood fretboard with smooth rolled edges and 22 medium-jumbo frets.
