New from EMG are pickup sets like those used by the stars. These sets are supplied pre-wired with pots, switches and pickguard for a Stratocaster. All you have to do is solder on the jack socket and off you go.
Steve Lukather's set consists of two EMG SLV and one EMG 85, the SLV is a custom pickup with high output and fat sound that is not available separately. The set is mounted in a black pearl pickguard.

Hallo,ich bin leider mit dem Steve Lukather Pro SL20 nicht zufrieden.Das SL20 ist leider sehr leise,im Vergleich zum EMG 81,das ich bei Ihnen gekauft habe.Nach telefonischer Rücksprache mit ihrem Techniker,wurde mir bestätigt,das es leise ist.Ich haber versucht mit einem externen Preamp,EMG SL20,die Lautstärke anzuheben,das hat leider auch funktioniert,denn der Preamp hebt natürlich die Nebengeräusche an.
Ich besitze bereits eine alte Gitarre mit diesem Set.
Sehr guter und vielfältiger Klang. Rock, Blues, Country oder auch Metal, für jeden Geschmack etwas. Einbau kinderleicht, auf meine Squier CV 60 hat alles gepasst.
Micros bien équilibrés; son différent tout en restant dans l’esprit strat. Apporte beaucoup de présence.
