The Duke A-PF-SOLID is a classic Triple O (OOO) in fully solid construction. The body pairs East Indian rosewood back and sides with a fully solid spruce top sourced from the high alpine regions of Graubünden in Switzerland. Abalone appointments, herringbone binding and many other lovingly crafted details make the A-PF-SOLID not only sound excellent but also a visual delight for every lover of classic steel-string guitars.
The carefully manufactured Dukes in China each undergo about an hour of final finishing and optimisation in Tübingen in Swabia by a luthier. This means all Dukes are shipped with newly dressed and polished frets and set up with playing-ready string action. In this way we guarantee perfect playing enjoyment from the first chord.
High-quality standard equipment on every Duke includes, alongside selected materials such as a bone nut and ebony fretboard, an Elixir Nanoweb string set.
