The completely redesigned 828 connects via USB3 with extremely low latency and powerful drivers to a Mac, PC or an iOS device and offers 60 audio I/O channels. Thanks to proven ESS Sabre32™ DAC technology it guarantees outstanding analogue performance, a 24-channel mixer and built-in effects, including reverb, a 4-band EQ and compression. Advanced features include inserts for external gear, optical expander mode, word clock and Wi‑Fi control via smartphone or tablet.
The 828 is equally suited to studio and stage. As an interface or standalone mixer it provides a total of 28 separate inputs and 32 separate outputs, including two XLR/TRS “combo” mic/line/guitar inputs, dedicated main outputs on XLR and two independent front-panel headphone outputs.
