The Resonant EMAD series (REMAD) from Evans features a layer of 7.5mil black film. The unique EMAD damping system provides controlled overtones in combination with a fixed internal ring. The 4-inch microphone port has its own foam damper to improve the attack, shorten the sustain while also protecting the port.
