Beyerdynamic TG D71 · Microphone
The Boundary microphone TG D71 completes the legendary Drum microphone series from Beyerdynamic.
It primarily serves to mic the bass drum, with no additional mounting material
Simply inserted into the bass drum. The TG D71 can also be used for other low-frequency instruments such as the Cajon, or the piano. The compact design and the semi-cardioid characteristics allow easy positioning of the microphone. Due to the high pulse spread, a low response time and a maximum sound pressure level of 148 dB, the TG D71 is also suitable for the micing of percussion instruments.
The robust housing in a slim, compact design protects the microphone from damage during everyday handling on stage. For long-term installation on a surface, two mounting holes are located on the bottom of the microphone. The microphone is equipped with an integrated transducer and can be operated with microphone inputs with 11 to 52 V phantom power. A red status LED lights up when the phantom power is on, indicating the readiness of the microphone.
