Artiphon Orba

The Orba synthesizer is a multi-talent. The MIDI controller is both a looper and a synthesizer. The minimalist game controller-style design is an invitation to pick up the device and intuitively create music with fingers and hand movements. Eight touchpads respond to the slightest touch and also recognize a variety of gestures such as tapping, swiping and vibrato. The integrated sound engine features a 4-part polyphonic synthesizer with subtractive and physical modeling sounds and enables a wide range of drum, bass, chord and lead sounds. In addition, the accelerometer and gyroscope also enable multi-dimensional movements such as waving, tilting and shaking, ideal for controlling other sounds and effects.
