AKG WMS 420 Headworn Set BM

The WMS420 Headworn Set is perfect for wireless voice transmission in the gym, the dance school or in physical education as well as for small theater and meeting rooms. The simple operation of the WMS420 enables rapid configuration and commissioning of the radio system.

The Head Worn set includes the receiver SR420, a pocket transmitter PT420 and the C555 L head-worn microphone.

The headset microphone is very robust, very comfortable to wear, thanks to the adjustable neckband and ensures optimum speech intelligibility. The elastic mounting of the capsule body ensures that noises are effectively suppressed. The polar pattern of the C555 L displaces ambient noise effectively. A moisture shield prevents the penetration of perspiration into the capsule and protects the microphone from moisture.

The SR420 diversity receiver ensures secure reception of the audio signal. Two detachable antennas on the back of the receiver for maximum flexibility and enable the use of an optional antenna accessories. The reception quality of the two antennas is compared constantly using sophisticated algorithms and uses only the strongest received radio signal. This guarantees optimum RF stability without annoying interruptions.

The bodypack transmitter PT420 is small and lightweight. With just one AA battery or NiMH battery, the radio transmission works up to 8 hours. The input level of the connected microphone, can be set directly on the bodypack transmitter. Integrated charging contacts allow direct charging of the transmitter in the optional charging station CU400, which can charge up to two channels easily and can store it safely.

Both the receiver SR420 and the pocket transmitter PT420 operate in a switching bandwidth of up to 30 MHz. Up to 8 channels can be operated simultaneously in the UHF range. The system is also available as a registration or licensing free frequency model.
