The guitars of the Violet Series represent the essence of Furch's philosophy of sound: The excellent acoustic properties of the spruce top are guaranteed by Furch's proprietary intonation process. The back and sides of each guitar are made of layered mahogany. The back is specially profiled without the need for internal bracing, resulting in an unusually loud sound. The body of the instrument is treated with an open-pored finish that enhances the natural sound and appearance of the high-quality materials while being very pleasant to touch. A durable, high-precision adjustment for excellent playability is achieved with the advanced Composite Neck Reinforcement System (CNR).
