Heritage Semi-Acoustic Guitars
The Heritage models H-530 and H-535 are hollow-body and semi-hollow-body guitars respectively. The semi-acoustic guitars are part of Heritage's popular Standard Collection. They are – similar to the Custom-Core series – made by hand and following traditional building methods at the factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
The Heritage H-530 is a hollow-body guitar with a double-cut body shape. It is the lightest guitar in the Heritage lineup. Its open body construction without a centre block lets it breathe and resonate naturally. The body and top of the H-530 are made from maple laminate and finished with a nitrocellulose lacquer. The nitro finish ensures the guitars sound airy and age beautifully over time. Depending on the colour, a beautiful flamed figuring can appear. For the much-loved warm and growling vintage output the Heritage H-530 is fitted with two Lollar P-90 pickups.
The semi-acoustic sister named H-535 from Heritage is a semi-hollow-body guitar. Its double-cut body construction with a solid centre block provides excellent playability and reduces unwanted feedback. The body and top material of the H-535 are also made from maple laminate. Depending on the finish choice, you can again see a gorgeous flamed figuring that, thanks to the nitro lacquer, contributes to an airy tone and a pleasing ageing process over time. A pair of Seymour Duncan '59 humbuckers deliver a sweet old-school sound at the bridge and a warm, full tone at the neck with great sustain.
Both semi-acoustic guitars from Heritage cut a fine figure and are perfect for guitar playing in the genres of rock, blues and jazz.
