Squier Vintage Modified Bass VI OW · Electric Bass Guitar

In 1961 Fender wanted to expand its program and as Danelectro introduced a 6 string guitar bass which was used by former guitar superstar Duane Eddy, it was decided to bring out a much more sophisticated model. That was the birth of the Bass VI. The bass VI was meant to help guitar players over the transition from electric guitar to electric bass guitar. In principle, this bass is a guitar with a long scale length and tuned an octave lower. Prominent users were Jack Bruce and the Beatles. In the 70's the Bass VI gained late notoriety due to the Dutch band "Hank the Knife & the Jets" who used the Bass VI as a Baritone guitar. Old originals of this Instruments are rare and very expensive, but there is a remedy: the Squier Vintage Modified Bass VI OW is a reprint of this exotic guitar at a moderate price. Optics, circuit and equipment meet the original. Exotic, but very cool.

Squier Vintage Modified

I wont say much, just that I've wanted a Bass VI all my life but I couldnt even afford a japanese one. Now I finally have it and Im hella happy. The only thing I didnt like about the bass is that the binding is poorly done, as the nut and the strings are too thing. But well, 2 out of those 3 things have a very simple solution, and for the price I cannot complain

Great inspiring instrument

Value for money:

A very inspiring instrument for a musician with amateur ambitions. It will need some adjustments, it's difficult to intonate the sixth string, the finish is not the very best (dust and some scratches), but it's OK thinking of the price. A great instrument for the money! And if you can't decide if you're a guitar or a bass player, this is the best buy!

Simply brilliant

This was bought on a whim. The bass VI far exceeds my expectations and is one of my favourite guitars.
On top of this the quality of service was first rate. I cannot rate Musik-produktiv highly enough.
5 stars for the bass and for the suppliers. I will re use this company
