The compact Focusrite VRM Box headphone monitoring system allows you to monitor and mix your DAW playback in different acoustic rooms, through different modelled monitor speakers with just headphones. Choose from ten industry standard studio monitors speakers, computer speakers, television speakers and consumer hi-fi speakers played through three different room models: a mixing studio, a large living room and a smaller bedroom like acoustic space. The Focusrite VRM Box is a bus-powered 24-bit 48kHz USB audio playback interface headphone monitor system. The included Focusrite VRM Box software application provides a choice of mixing environments and virtual monitor speakers. Modelled monitor speakers include the Auratone 5C monitors, Genelec 1031A monitors, KRK VXT8 monitors, Yamaha NS10M monitor speakers, as well as home hi-fi speakers. If desired, the Focusrite VRM modelling software can be bypassed. The VRM Box can act either as the primary output of your DAW or inline with the S/PDIF output of your audio interface. Use it with any DAW. Monitor your DAW playback via the Focusrite VRM Box interfaces built-in 30 mWatt into 50 ohms headphone amplifier with 108dB dynamic range, a significant improvemnt on typical laptop audio outputs. A RCA stereo S/PDIF 32kHz to 192kHz digital input allows the Focusrite VRM Box headphone monitoring system to be used with another interface with a S/PDIF output, like a Pro Tools HD system.
